Looking for Definition of DM disconnect mode or what DM stands for?
Disconnect Mode (DM) is a high-level data link (HDLC) response behavior. The DM mode is an answer to the set framework and shows that the partner is in a state of waiting, Asynchronous Disconnect (ADM). Logically, the data station is isolated from the internet link in this state. A DM message is applied when the instruction to transfer to the ABM state should not or cannot be executed in the corresponding system’s communication request (Link Set-up).
